Domestic Violence Batterer Intervention Program (BIP)
California Penal Code 1203.097-Compliant | Online Format
The Domestic Violence Batterer Intervention Program (BIP) offered by Streets2Schools is a certified, court-approved program that fulfills all California requirements under Penal Code 1203.097. This comprehensive online course is designed to educate, transform, and equip participants with the insight and tools needed to change harmful behavior patterns.
How It Works
The program includes weekly 2-hour live group sessions conducted via secure video conferencing. Participants can join from a phone, tablet, or computer, and are required to have their video camera on for full engagement. In these sessions, clients interact in real time with the facilitator and fellow group members to discuss key topics and share insights.
In addition to live sessions, participants complete weekly online coursework, which alternates between:
Guided written reflections (deepening insight through personal responses), and
Practice assignments (real-world application of learned concepts).
