Our Parenting Program is a comprehensive, court-approved course designed to educate and empower individuals to build safer, more nurturing family environments. The program supports participants in breaking the cycle of family violence, improving emotional regulation, and developing parenting strategies rooted in empathy and accountability.
Program Overview
This course is delivered through weekly, 2-hour live group video sessions using a phone, tablet, or computer with a camera. During these sessions, participants and facilitators engage in real-time discussion, reflection, and skill-building around parenting challenges and responsibilities.
In addition to the group session, participants complete weekly online coursework, alternating between:
Guided written reflections to deepen self-awareness, and
Practical application assignments to put new parenting strategies into real-life practice.
Course Content
In accordance with California Penal Code Sections 273a (Child Endangerment) and 273d (Child Abuse), the program covers key areas essential to positive parenting and child development, including:
Recognizing and interrupting the cycle of family violence
Anger management and emotional regulation within the parenting role
Understanding and meeting the developmental and emotional needs of children
Replacing harmful patterns with nurturing, respectful, and age-appropriate approaches

Course Formats

16 - Week
An introductory course focused on core parenting skills, basic child development, and non-violent discipline strategies. Ideal for first-time referrals or voluntary participants needing foundational tools and change.

This mid-range program allows more time to explore emotional regulation, improve communication with children, and apply positive parenting techniques. Recommended for cases with moderate concerns or ongoing co-parenting challenges.

A deeper dive into the impact of family dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and anger management. Participants engage in extended self-reflection and consistent application of skills in real-life parenting scenarios. Suitable for those with complex family or behavioral histories.

52 - Week
Our most comprehensive parenting course, often required in more serious child abuse or endangerment cases. This intensive program covers the full scope of parenting education, emotional regulation, and long-term behavioral change, with ongoing support, accountability, and feedback.

Para Clases en Español
Ofrecemos clases de Clase de Programa de Padres en Español, aprobadas por la corte y disponibles en formatos de 16, 26, 34 y 52 semanas. Estas clases se imparten completamente en línea, con sesiones grupales semanales en vivo y tareas prácticas. Online Group Video Sessions
Group sessions are held on a scheduled day and time each week. Attendance is mandatory and monitored as part of the requirements for successful completion and certification. These sessions are interactive, with opportunities for participants to ask questions, share insights, and receive guidance on challenges related to:
